Meet Ruth
With a passion for teaching considered, dynamic movement, FloLuxe’s founder and lead instructor, Ruth, recognises the need to both support and challenge during classes. Intentionally creating a thoughtful experience where everybody, feels welcome and confident, Ruth ensures everyone leaves a FloLuxe class feeling calmer, stronger, more aligned.
After finding movement and Pilates herself during her pre & post natal periods, Ruth understands the transformative feel-good effects of intentional movement on both the body and the mind.
After deciding to retrain to become a Pilates instructor during her second maternity leave, Ruth left her corporate job in 2025 to become a full-time instructor and has never looked back.
FloLuxe was founded in October 2025 with the launch of our signature dynamic mat Pilates classes at Aire Content Loft in Nottingham. Since then, additional classes have been added to our schedule at Aire Content Loft and we have launched our bespoke Pilates experiences, which allow us to bring the movement to you.
Alongside teaching the FloLuxe community, Ruth instructs reformer Pilates for a number of boutique studios in the Nottinghamshire area.
